Can't edit data base

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Log in and pick any entry
2.Hit edit button and type input
3.Click save button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect new data to be saved but an error message is given. (See attached screen 
shot)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.99.11 on Android 4.4.4 on a Samsung Galaxy S5.

Please provide any additional information below.
I'm using the same data base I had previously used on an HTC Android device but 
since switching phones I can only read, not edit.

I have the exact same issue.  I replaced phones.  Same model, o.s. was a 
warranty refurbished phone.
I tried, clearing cache as another user suggested, and the app is not on my SD 
card, but no luck.  Same error.
