Classic vs. New App #11

Are their instructions on how to set this up in the new app? In classic it works fine but with the new, I can only turn the fan on and off, it shows as a light bulb. The other two things are uncontrollable.

I am having the same issue.

Same

Has anybody figured this out yet? It looks like Samsung is discontinuing the classic SmartThings app in September. I would really like to get this working with the new SmartThings app.

I am in the same boat. I use the KOF custom App and DH for 4 fans. Trying to decide where to start dealing with all my custom devices that will not port to the new SmartThings app.

That is one of the reasons I switched to Hubitat. But mostly because I got tired of SmartThings always going offline and it was slowing down whereas Hubitat runs locally on its hub without the requirement to have the cloud.

Thanks, @dcoffing for the support here, building this at the time to help us all out. I only had one of these devices and have always wanted to get my other 4 fans connected to my smart home. I recently purchased a bunch of the new Inovelli switches that are working wonderfully and are much more functional than the device provides by Wink/Hampton Bay.

Homeassistant is a great one too. I switched about a year ago and having everything local makes a huge difference in reliability and speed.

Same here. I have two of the new Inovelli fan/light switches and started using those as well because of all the extra functionality.
