Ability to leave gadget state milestone hints.

Gadgets subject to high volume state changes present multiple challenges. 
If gadgets could create waypoint hints, the playback pain might be decreased.

For example; a polling gadget could generate daily waypoint hints, making
review of poll status easier (assuming a playback UI that allows for such
things, see the old Google Tech Talk by the woman discussing graph/tree
visualization for UI ideas (I would provide a URL to the talk if YouTube
hadn't becoming increasingly hostile, to the point of unusability, and
guessing search terms wasn't successful)).

Thanks, that's a good idea and one that we're definitely thinking about. We'll

when we have an idea of what that might look like.

This would allow for the implementation of a spreadsheet gadget that displays
participants' cursors without bothering all participants of that wave.
