Feature Request:Separate robots from non-robots in the UI #289

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

Contacts
1. Can we have separate robots and normal users in the contacts?
2. Grouping of users, robots and usage of groups in waves

In Wave
1. Normal users and robots are shown together. Can we have robots shown
separately?
Eg.
[bots] [user1] [user2] [user3] [user4]
Calcbot
Wikify
WaveSearch

[bots] is a Drop Down Menu. This will avoid crowding of bots instead of
actual participants in wave header.

2. Creating waves based on templates which has predefined robots already
added.
Eg. Wave with language translator, Wikify, CalcBot etc.

I've shared the first request with the team. As for the second request, that
can be
achieved with extension installers that specify what participants to add onto a
wave,
from the "New Wave Menu". Was there something else you wanted?

Hi Thanks Pamela. Sounds good.
We are in the process of building a portal where wave is going to play an
important
role and we will be working on waves based on templates (with built in robots).
Templates could be based on users usage patterns etc.

Thanks and regards,

Karsh
