Feature request: Make it easy to share an extension #846

Scenario: I use a particular extension and I want to get a colleague using it 
too. I can't find the extension installer anymore (for whatever reason). How do 
I give the extension to my friend?

The only option I seem to have is to use the "extension installer" extension to 
put an installer on a new wave, but then I have to know the manifest URL which 
isn't readily available.

My first thought was to do "copy blip" in my extension settings wave, but it 
doesn't work. I'm guessing this is because its some kind of 
dynamically-generated wave.

One thing we are going to add is an "Install this" option to gadgets in waves, 
so if your friend is looking at a wave with a gadget, they can immediately 
install it.

It sounds like you're thinking of being able to share from the extension 
gallery or settings wave, which is a good idea. I've shared with the team.
