Possible to create invalid F-15E (Suite 4+) custom loadouts in Liberation #3036

Description

In the mission editor, the wing tanks on pylons 2 and 14 are automatically removed if a user attaches 6x CBU-87s or 6x CBU-97s on CFT pylons 4 and 12. Liberation will however allow you to create an invalid loadout with both 6x CBUs and wing tanks, leading to the aircraft spawning in with wing tanks but no CBUs.

The attached save has a flight (the first one) with both wing tanks and 6x CBU-87s on one side and 6x CBU-97s on the other. In the generated mission, that loadout will appear to be fine in the mission editor, but the bombs will not be there when you load into the mission.

Likewise, 6x CBU-97s and 6x CBU-87s should not be carried when there is an LGB (GBU-10, GBU-12, GBU-24) on wing pylons 2 and 14.

Pylons 1, 3, 13, and 15 (for A2A missiles) also should be empty if there is an LGB (GBU-10, GBU-12, GBU-24) on wing pylons 2 and 14.

The second flight in the attatched save file has GBUs on the wing pylons, A2A missiles on 1, 3, 13, 15, and 6x CBUs on the CFT pylons.

Note: This problem is specific to 6x CBUs on the CFT pylons. 2x and 4x can be carried along with wing tanks and GBUs. Same goes for Rockeyes, iron bombs, etc.

This is very likely to stick around for a while. Probably until we find data that can set these rules automatically.

(It's not the first aircraft that has this problem either, there are a handful of others with special rules, though IDR which off the top of my head)

Understandable. I think for now, as long as the default loadouts work, it's fine.

hi guys just got the f15e trying to get it in the liberation either retribution or liberation but keep getting you need the f15 c mod

If you are encountering an error in Liberation, file a bug report. We cannot provide support for retribution as it is not our software and we don't use it.
