Feature Request: JTAC Options/Integrating JTAC as a purchasable unit with assignable tasks #64

Open furiouscaulks opened 4 years ago

Can JTAC be made as a purchasable base unit, can it be assigned to different unit types such as infantry, c130, etc? Can more in depth options be added to mission planning menu for JTAC autolase allowing us to manipulate all switches? For instance, purchasing a JTAC unit, assigning it a laser code, assigning it a target type, assigning it a colour type in order to distinguish JTAC targets if they have different laser codes?

As an afterthought, how about the same for AWACS and Tankers? Furthermore, is could base and warehouse assets be integrated into the economy?

Just thought I'd include this so you can see what's happening with red smoke. Green seems to be ok, blue and white I don't know yet. It can be a useful feature to enable for alternate laser codes, but red is just unusable across most modules right now because of the way it blacks out the tgp.

+1 red smoke disables flir, which makes night CAS missions impossible. Also red smoke appearing out of thin air and targets standing in smoke waiting to be splashed is pretty immersion breaking. Is there any quick fix to disable the red smoke?

Found out that you can disable smoke via opening [DCS Liberation Folder]/resources/scripts/JTACAutoLase.lua -> changing JTAC_smokeOn to false
