You can’t make it brainless for everyone because one person (I know him) didn’t pay attention to an obvious clue given.
He would have failed in a real escape room as well as in some bdsm scenario in real life by not paying attention. Not our fault!

Its not “obscure” it’s absolutely painfully clear without any hiddenness to it

some way to hint at the "safe word" after a number of tries?
maybe we need a "not matched" counter give hints or clues after 3 not-matched answers?
reset not matched count when something is matched.
