Change the python boostrapping to javascript bootstrapping

The bootstrap script has been updated for Mac. It needs to be tried out (we can start with christines laptop, since it should be a clean slate without any libraries or packages)

The next step is to add support for Linux machines. Sorry windows machines, you are out of luck
