Plans for long term support #137

Hey again @JochenGuckSnk ! I'm currently considering getting involved into implementation of OTLP for Kotlin Native and contribution to your port is one of the options on the table. That's the reason I wanted to get some clarification on a plans for long term support of this library.

A port you've made seems already a bit outdated and library hasn't received any updates since a while. Is this going to change soon and library would be actively developed and maintained or plans have changed in the meantime? Any information in this matter will really be helpful and appreciated.

Hi @kstanikviacbs,

I started this repo as a site project. And it is still one. I tried to keep the repository up to date in terms of its dependencies. But right now feature development in this project is not really high on my priority list because of my other obligations.

Nevertheless we are using this client and there is no plan to abandon it.

Your contribution would be welcome and I would be happy to work with you.

I also thought about adding this library to maven central and establishing a gitflow workflow. But this makes only sense for me if more people are using and maintaining it.
