GenEst is designed to run from either the R command line, RGui, or as a Shiny app. I can't guarantee compatibility with any other packages. This is the only time I've heard of an issue with any incompatibility with tidyverse. I'm glad you found a workaround.
Hi Dr. Dalthorp,
I just wanted to send a note to say that the issue I was having was NOT a conflict with tidyverse. The problem was on my end. So sorry for the confusion.

thanks for the update. I'm glad to hear you got it all figured out.
I currently cannot run the estM function from the R command line while tidyverse is loaded. I did not have this problem with a previous version of GenEst (I'm not sure which one!). Other GenEst functions (SE and CP models run) with tidyverse loaded. I am not super familiar with package conflicts, so I will export my SE/CP models as .rds and datafiles as .csv and then run them through the estM function (this appears to work). It would be ideal if the estM function would run with tidyverse also loaded.
