What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
it should work....but it doesnt

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
im using windows vista on a toshiba

Please provide any additional information below.
doesnt work need another program or solution

Same error on an HP pavilion (syn1e04) w/ Win7-64
Suggests reinstalling drivers.  Sadness.

Make sure you have Synaptics drivers installed. Kind of important. Then try 
updating
driver. Make sure when you run the .exe that you run as admin
