Feature Request: djay pro & Spotify OR Songs beeing played on Mac

Dear Developer, I LOVE Lyrics - it is a very helpful too. However - as a DJ - I use djay pro connected with spotify to play my songs. LyricsX does'nt recognize the songs beeing played by this combination. Would it be able to add support for this - if not - maybe another solution would be to listen to any sounds being played and than try do identify the song. I would love to get your oppinion on that. Partys are just a little better, if the crowd can sing along to the music the DJ is playing. THX!

Hi, glad to hear my app helps. Could you elaborate the djay pro and Spotify combination? Is djay pro a stand alone player, a (virtual) audio output device, or a remote controller for Spotify? When you "use djay pro connected with spotify", is the Spotify application still running? Can you control playback via Spotify application? Does the system Now Playing widget show the track you played? It seems like djay pro also support iTunes, can LyricsX recognize it?

Hi - thank you very much for the quick reply. I will try to answer the questions:

• djay Pro is (as far as I know) the only option on the market for DJ's Mixing Songs from Spotify
• it is possible to actually play 2 songs from spotify and do creazy DJ stuff with it ;) See for yourselfe: https://www.algoriddim.com/
• There is a Spotify Connector within the djay pro where I can access my Spotify Songs using djay Pro

Is djay pro a stand alone player, a (virtual) audio output device, or a remote controller for Spotify? << It's an APP for Mac, Windows, iPhone etc

When you "use djay pro connected with spotify", is the Spotify application still running? << No, Spotify is not running when djay Pro is being used

Can you control playback via Spotify application? << No; Spotify is not open when being used with djay Pro

Does the system Now Playing widget show the track you played? << I am not sure what you mean with "system Now Playing" Widget

It seems like djay pro also support iTunes, can LyricsX recognize it? << I don't use Itunes, sorry ;)

I also posted this question in the Forum of the manufacture of djay Pro -Maybe you both can figure out a win:win situation https://community.algoriddim.com/algoriddim/topics/dj-pro-lyrics ... I think it would make a lot of people very happy ... and many of them (including me) would spend a few $$ on this . option.
