Better Render Dragon is Not Working For Me #108

I have trying to use Better Render Dragon with YSS RD 1.9.9 and YSS RD 1.9.10 Beta 1 but it doesn't seem to work. I can't even open the F6 menu

  • CPU: i5-6200U
  • GPU: AMD R5 M330
  • RAM: 12GB DDR3
  • OS: Windows 10

Software Used

  • Better Render Dragon
  • Bedrock Launcher (for version changing)

Tried Stuff

  • Game Versions: 1.21.0, 1.21.1, 1.21.2 1.21.20
  • Shaders: YSS RD 1.9.9, YSS RD 1.9.10 Beta 1, Newb X Legacy 15.54 Windows
  • Deferred Rendering: YSS SE 1.9.8.0 Windows, Poggy's Luminous Dreams Shader

Additionally, I've also checked and I am on DirectX 12. Please help me in the comment section or DM me on Discord @notore_

Check the dlls folder in the betterRD directory, there should be a .dll file in there, if the folder is empty your antivirus has likely flagged the file as a "virus" which is a false positive. In that case add an exception to the BetterRD directory in your antivirus and re-extract the BetterRD archive. (As a side note your GPU does not support Deferred Rendering due to it only supporting DirectX Feature level 11_0, the minimum feature level needed to run deferred is 12_0.)

I see. I checked and my .dll file is still there. Does BRD not work with DirectX 11? Also I tried replacing the bin files manually and I think that worked.

BetterRD does support DirectX 11. If you have the time could you record a video of yourself launching BetterRD on your PC, that would be greatly helpful.
