VR Support! #41

Add a bat script which launches the game in VR mode with the debug menu turned on (It wont be visible in the headset but will be visible on the desktop monitor)

have you tried using vr on the latest preview ?

How to install preview:

  1. Click here to install the NEW Minecraft Launcher

  2. Sign into it using your Microsoft Account

  3. Give me your bank and Credit Card details

  4. In the Launcher, you will see a 'Minecraft for Windows' section, click it

  5. In this section, click the 'Preview' tab on the top

  6. Install it ¯_(ツ)_/¯

    How to use vr with it

  7. Press Windows + I to open the Settings app

  8. Select Apps and click Default apps

  9. Search for Minecraft and select it

  10. Scroll down and find the MINECRAFT entry (it should also say Minecraft | URL:minecraft) and click it

  11. In the pop-up, select Minecraft Preview and click ok

  12. Open a file explorer window to your desktop

  13. Right click > new > Shortcut

  14. when it asks for the location of the item, type this: minecraft://Mode/?OpenXR=true

  15. Name it anything Now complete creating the shortcut and then run it !

There is a dev mode in the wmr software if you don't have a headset
