📌 Term & Title

Title:
Endorphins & Dopamine - The Brain’s Dynamic Duo for Pain and Pleasure

Term:
"Endorphins" and "Dopamine"

🧩 Definition

Description:
Endorphins – These neurotransmitters are like the brain’s personal painkillers. Released through activities like exercise, laughter, and even stress, endorphins mask pain and give you that cozy, blissful feeling often called a "runner’s high." Basically, when life hurts, endorphins swoop in to soften the blow.

Dopamine – Known as the "reward" neurotransmitter, dopamine is released when you do something that feels good, like eating chocolate, achieving a goal, or relaxing with a hobby. Dopamine gives you that rush of satisfaction and motivates you to go after more of what you enjoy.

Together, endorphins help you endure and even enjoy physical exertion, while dopamine keeps you coming back for the things you love. It’s amazing how our brains use these different chemicals to balance out pain and pleasure!

🔖 Notes

Think of endorphins as your body’s "thank-you gift" for going through something tough, while dopamine is like your reward for doing something you enjoy. Fascinating how the brain has its own pain and pleasure systems to keep us balanced!

Remember: Keep calm, debug on, and let’s make engineering a bit more fun, one term at a time!
