Point Tracker / EX Score #35

It could be very useful to implement a point tracking score system similar to DDR's EX Score system where steps are awarded points instead of displaying the "money score". It could be used together with the percentage system or as an alternate option & it would be very useful for spectators / commentators to see exactly how much someone is ahead/behind mid-song instead of guessing based off the percentage.

Additionally a graphic in the middle could indicated which player is ahead (arrow pointing to P1 or P2) and show how many points they are ahead. Could also show points ahead/behind next to the EX score or as a superscript next to the player's combo / judgements.

When I asked about this some months back, people were concerned about visibility and being distracting.

I wonder if one could render it in 10% opacity in SM, and then apply an OBS filter to do contrast x10 for stream display.

The hope is that StomperZ will be dropped from the next major SL release and replaced with something better suited to modern competitive/tournament gameplay as the post-ITG community understands it.

Some modifications I am aware of and have considered include:

I'll need to discuss this with people who play SM5, particularly those who play competitively, as I do not and should have minimal say in this.
