Hi,

First of all, thank you ddvk for all your work into this project and for making the reMarkable a much better device. Been using your hacks for a couple of years, and it's been a huge help throughout.

I've recently updated my reMarkable 1 (only do so about once a year) and I'm encountering a couple of issues - not sure if caused by xochitl/codex or the hacks. I'm running version 2.15.1.1189-patch_39.1.01-0-ge9882a1 and the latest remarkable-hacks 2.15.1.1189.

As I mentioned, not sure what is happening here, and if all of these issues can be caused by the rm-hacks, but thought I would drop you a line about it. The previous version I was using (not entirely sure of the version number, but I think it was from November 2021) was absolutely rock solid!

Thanks once again for all your work and for sharing this remarkable project!

Hi!

I can confirm, at least, two issues:

1) middle button, first issue noted above; and 2) Zen mode on memory, third issue above.

Thanks for all your outstanding work! Best regards,

Thank you for confirming @digital-tinta

On the second issue, I narrowed it down a bit further. It happens when I'm writhing in Zen mode and then I use the selection tool. When this happens, the selection tool gets mapped to the right button (left button in Zen mode is mapped to the eraser). If I then accidentally press the right button while writhing, or if I select the selection tool using the right button, sometimes the marker stops registering completely (hasn't happened consistently, but it has happened often). I've tried changing modes, tried closing and opening the notebook, tried a bunch of things but only restarting the tablet works to get the marker back. It's specific to the marker as it continues to register touch input from my fingers.
