Trouble detecting my reMarkable 2 #24

I follow the instructions, but there is nothing showing up on dmesg. What I do:

  1. I plug the rm into power and fully turn it off (holding the power button for 15 seconds)
  2. I plug in my usb-c Cable and breakout board with the resistor soldered to B8 and B12
  3. I plug in my usb-micro cable to the board I have soldered with 5 short cables directly to the pogo connectors.

The device then flashes, indicating it turned on, but I don't see anythin in dmseg

I tried multiple usb-c Cables and both my Framework Laptop and my PC. Both the same

I resoldered my resistor from B8 to GND. It worked and I got my remarkable unbricked. Thanks for this awesome guide!!!!
