Ive completely forgotten how to set up a development environment for blogr (after I rebased the code).

Everytime I run

rails server

or

rails g blogr:setup

I get:

/Users/Hasnain/.rvm/rubies/ruby-2.0.0-p247/lib/ruby/site_ruby/2.0.0/rubygems/core_ext/kernel_require.rb:126:in `require': cannot load such file -- blogr/configuration (LoadError)

Sounds like it either can't find the blogr.rb config file or possibly that the blogr.rb file exists but Blogr can't load it. Have you tried updating the gem?

Here's what I did:

git clone git@github.com:BukhariH/engine.git
cd engine/
bundle install
mv config/blogr.example.rb config/blogr.rb
rails g blogr:setup

Then I get:

/Users/Hasnain/.rvm/rubies/ruby-2.0.0-p247/lib/ruby/site_ruby/2.0.0/rubygems/core_ext/kernel_require.rb:126:in require': cannot load such file -- blogr/configuration (LoadError) from /Users/Hasnain/.rvm/rubies/ruby-2.0.0-p247/lib/ruby/site_ruby/2.0.0/rubygems/core_ext/kernel_require.rb:126:inrequire' from /Users/Hasnain/app/web/engine/lib/blogr/engine.rb:1:in <top (required)>' from /Users/Hasnain/.rvm/rubies/ruby-2.0.0-p247/lib/ruby/site_ruby/2.0.0/rubygems/core_ext/kernel_require.rb:126:inrequire' from /Users/Hasnain/.rvm/rubies/ruby-2.0.0-p247/lib/ruby/site_ruby/2.0.0/rubygems/core_ext/kernel_require.rb:126:in require' from /Users/Hasnain/.rvm/gems/ruby-2.0.0-p247@blogr/gems/railties-4.0.2/lib/rails/engine/commands.rb:11:in<top (required)>' from /Users/Hasnain/.rvm/rubies/ruby-2.0.0-p247/lib/ruby/site_ruby/2.0.0/rubygems/core_ext/kernel_require.rb:73:in require' from /Users/Hasnain/.rvm/rubies/ruby-2.0.0-p247/lib/ruby/site_ruby/2.0.0/rubygems/core_ext/kernel_require.rb:73:inrequire' from bin/rails:8:in `

'

Weird. What step am I missing?

I still haven't found out how I did it last time. Damn.

I completely forgot that there was another gemset hence I couldn't use Rails Start and had to use bundle exec rails server hence it now works:)

Ha, easily done. Glad to hear you sorted it :)
