with 3.2.4 and latest insider get blank notes when i do simple things #97

I have 2 notes open. In one I use a hotkey to switch between edit and live preview. I get a new, empty note opened. This didn't happen before the update. Once I have this I can't get the note to go away. ctl-w or click on the X in the sidebar just creates a new empty note. Seems to be related to having notes pinned and operating on them,

This solved the problem for me:

  1. Close all open notes
  2. Reopen the notes and pin them

i couldn't get the empty note to close. just kept reopening.

Yes, same thing for me. I'm on v0.14.15.

Simple repro case for me (Obsidian 15.2, installer 14.15, Sliding Panes 3.2.4):

  1. Open Obsidian
  2. Close all notes
  3. Open a single note
  4. Toggle read / edit mode - no issues
  5. Pin note
  6. Toggle read / edit mode - body of note disappears (shows options to Create / Go To / See Recent / Close) but spine is still visible

I tried repro'ing this with Pane Relief 0.24 on/off and with both source and LP editing mode defaults - no change. I'm using v5.3 of both Minimal and Minimal Theme Settings. No major CSS hocus pocus otherwise. In Sliding Panes I set the Leaf Auto Width to ON.
