wsmc/Java currently can run standalone or as a Bukkit API / Spigot API plugin, but it may additionally be worthwhile to support loading in a BungeeCord proxy server:

wsmc is a proxy, BungeeCord is a proxy... perhaps BungeeCord can subsume some of the functionality desired in wsmc:
