You should remove map index file after you make any changes to datums file. But
it would be better to share a test map so I can have a look.

After conversion of Swedisch BSB maps to ozf2/3 format, they come up in
Oziexplorer, but not in Androzic.
Indexing gives 'Datum autoshift ..... not found', these not indexing BSB-maps
have 'GD=RT90 (Sweden)'.
Same index error 'Datum autoshift ..... not found' for BSB-maps with
'GD=COORDINATE SYSTEM 1942'
Also indexing error 'Datum NGO1948 not found' with Norwegion BSB-maps with
'GD=EUROPEAN DATUM 1950' or 'GD=NORWEGIAN GRADUATION'
maybe these errors are related to the same problem

Can you share a map with autoshift datum? As for NGO1948 - I will add it in
next release.

Sorry for the late respons. I was away a couple of days.
I solved the problem for my own maps.
In the .map file generated by Oziexplorer (by import .KAP) there was a line:
Auto Shift .....,COORDINATE SYSTEM 1942, -0.6000, -7.8000,WGS 84
I changed this line in:
WGS 84,COORDINATE SYSTEM 1942, -0.6000, -7.8000,WGS 84
for all the files with this error, and now they are OK in Androzic.
Also I changed NGO1948 in the Norwegian maps in WGS 84; and they work now also
in Androzic.
Ofcourse I can give you the .map and/or .kap files, as you think that is
neccessary. But the kap-files are big; I don't know how to send them to you.
Maybe the lines above are enouph information to you.

I was searching for a solution to this problem for a long time and this note
helped me a lot.
I had some maps that were working perfect, but for the new ones I got the same
error message posted here.
I edited both .map files, the old and new ones, I copied exactly the line of
the old files and replaced it in the new files.
The solution worked perfect and I can now use the maps without problems.
Regardless of the parameters, anyone who has a .map file that works, just need
to replace the line in the new ones.
Thank you very much for your help.
Regards.

Well, a very similar issue is with Lithuanian coordinate system LKS-94. I can
not install it in Androzic, while it would be very useful as most of the local
maps are in this coordinate system.
