you can not enter a long username in location sharing #219

What steps will reproduce the problem?
When trying to enter a long username, program shows only some part of it. 

What is expected? What do you get instead?
To be able to use long user names is helpful to add additional information
(example: tail number-pilot1-pilot2)

What version of the product are you using?
1.4
