Option to prioritize horizontal numbering over vertical numbering #29

It would be cool it there was an option to prioritize horizontal numbering over vertical numbering.

For example how windows number right now: | 1 | 3 | |---+---| | 2 | 2 |

How they number with the option turned on | 1 | 2 | |---+---| | 3 | 3 |

I would find it a lot easier to work like this, I wonder if there's more people who feel the same.

I was just wondering the same thing. Any updates on this? It looks like you may be able to use winum-assign-functions, but I'm not sure. Maybe I'll have a closer look this weekend
