Unusable - Ask ChatGPT button is gone after latest update #19

Before the last update the button was present but it was stuck to the top of the page so I had to scroll everytime to click it.

Now the button is gone.

In addition, the keyboard shortcut for asking chatgpt doesn't seem to work either. I tried changing it and restarting but no luck.

I am using Mac Ventura 13.3.1. Have not tested on other systems.

Same problem. Also Ventrua 13.3.1. Reinstalling of plugin didn't fix it, nor did generating a new API key from OpenAI.

To better understand the issue, could one of you please provide a screenshot of the developer console after starting Logseq and another one after switching to a ChatGPT page?

Additionally, can someone confirm if the sidebar button is working correctly or not? This will help me narrow down the issue.

Additionally, tell me if other plugins that show icon on 'toolbar' work correctly or not.

I've also not seen any way to use this plugin, for the same reason others describe; there's nothing to click, and although ctrl-shift-/ works to copy my current block to a new ChatGPT page, there seems to be no way to get anything else done.

I'm sorry that I don't know how to get any of the things you're asking for like a "developer console". Oh, the sidebar button works, I can confirm that.

Here a screenshot from my console.

Screenshot from my console as well, no change with the latest update. For what it's worth, I tried rolling back to the version that worked but I ended up having the same problem and couldn't get it working again.

In addition, it wasn't exactly working how it should when it was working, the button was only present at the top of the page, when scrolling I could see the button kind of glitching out trying to show up at the top of the page but it never seemed to stick.

The sidebar button does work, and I see other plugin icons in my toolbar.

After the latest update the shortcut key now functions and works well but still no button for me

I appreciate the warning box that pops up to say the button couldn't be loaded but the key will work -- as a pleasant change, the key actually did work, so I'm good. I admit I'm curious why we few (we happy few) are denied the use of a button, but honestly I envision using a keypress anyhow.

The button failing to load issue is due to a bug in recreateNode.ts. It is currently a high priority issue. I am working on a fix and expect to have it resolved by the end of this week.

I'm having the same thing, there is no main button added to the interface so the only thing I can do is use the shortcut to take the current block to a new page or to show the prompts list. No way of accessing the prompt edit window.

Perhaps a new shortcut could be added to open that menu and make the plugin usable again?
