8 years ago implemented a style of white-space: nowrap; on the parent div, and display:inline-block; on player and slider divs. success.
On initial page load, the slider sometimes shows up below the video player.
It should be on the right of the player.
Page refreshes and subsequent page loads resolve the issue.
