This is entirely another platform to support and while actual maintainers/contributors have actual saying on what gets implemented I'd like to point you to KDE Connect (e.g. clipboard sharing) and/or scrcpy, both of which are wonderful Android-PC integrations worth checking out as they might cover your use case (I'm assuming you don't intend to set up Android Barrier server).

I don't intend to set up Android Barrier server, I'd use as a client. My cenario: Company notebook <> my desktop pc <> tablet android

The Barrier server is my desktop pc 😁

This looks like a duplicate of #189 and #991 and possibly a duplicate of #1184.

There is a feature request for kde connect: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=395149 But I guess barrier project will want to implement a generic (not specific to kde) app.

Closest I can get is with the scrcpy project, running

scrcpy --window-width 100 --window-height 100 --otg -s DEVICEID

it has this window that you have to click into so that mouse, and keyboard events can be grabbed, and then it acts as an otg keyboard/mouse for the android device

It would be amazing if it worked with barrier with the edge of the screen is used to grab events

In fact, using the android device in a Barrier-like manner, could be awesome as an adition to the workflow setup. Showing the mouse cursor in the physical phone screen and so on.

I imagine to have WhatsApp, Discord, Meet, Zoom, opened in android and set the screen to never shutdown (while charging). So I can have the "Communication Flow" (having the advantage of the front camera and the mic from the phone itself) in the android device and using the Desk PC and multiple Laptops for other tasks.

We need an android barrier client to be done. Please.

Yup, that exactly is my usecase.
