I tried to install barrier on my Raspberry Pi 4 and i can't start the sharing like host. I have to set an Server IP because if i set only the flag on "Auto Config" it tell me to put the IP address. I've tried with all the possible IPs that could be, but in the Log it always say "Warning: failed to connect ot server: Timed out", so it continue in loop to try to connect and give the warning. I tried also to make the Raspberry the server and my Windows PC like client but in the log it continue to tell me "Warning: cannot listen for clients: cannot bind address: Address alredy in use". I've checked the name of the screen that matches, I've tried the various IP. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall on both machines but it still not working... Someone can help me please? Thank you, and sorry for my bad english

Funny I just came here to ask help for the same thing! :)

First I just wanted to say thank you to the people maintaining this software it really fantastic! It's really an amazing feeling being able to freely move across my PC and my Raspberry. (not saying this to get help faster btw :) )

I yesterday installed on my Win8.1 and RPi4-Buster and it all just worked straight away the whole evening. This morning after starting the computers up again its now not working. I start the server on the PC and then try to re-start the Client on the Pi.

The dialogs have this info: SERVER/PC: IP address: unknown SSL fingerprint: Ending in ':BA' Barrier is Running

CLIENT/Pi: (ghosted as not selected) IP addresses: 192.168.1.244, 192.168.1.4 (none of these are the PCs local IP) SSL Fingerprint: Ending in ':8B' Client: ON Auto Config: ON (same as yesterday) Barrier is Running

UPDATE: Hey now suddenly it is working again! Same settings Ive just been browsing the internet for a bit and then accidentally I move the mouse across. No idea what happened.

@Lizzit how did you install on the pi? I just did it with 'apt'. Then it recognized automatically that the other machine was running a server and set itself up. I didn't have to fill in any numbers. Also I am using a small network switch splitting up my single internet line to the PC and Pi where I guess the two can meet? Not sure if that would make any difference to how you might be running.

Update2: And now again its not working. I'll have to try to figure this out.
