We should grab the tab-separated-variable files, and start doing some rudimentary analysis in Limpet.

These things come to mind:

comparison of speeds between boats during the competition
comparison of upwind tacking
relative bearing between tacking heading and wind direction, and what speed they achieve
comparison of angles to wind for each vessel
if either vessel was suffered from being down-wind of opponent

We should also produce a blog article on the analysis, possibly to go into the Debrief site.

I know it's probably America's Cup 'Top Secret', but if there was some way of getting the boat polars, that'd be very useful and helpful.

By polars, do you mean the GPS coordinates?

The coords are in the tab-separated-variable files provided below. You can load them into a spreadsheet - but be sure to indicate that the columns are separated by tabs.
