how does image embed work..changing text of original file loses image even if frontmatter is the same. #912

Describe the bug

This video should explain. Am I doing something wrong? I am not sure what is supposed to happen.

Steps to reproduce

Expected behavior

the image would stay even if I change the text of the original file

also, the format of the frontmatter field would be consistent based on whether it is drawing the image from the dropdown or from the frontmatter. It appears one has quotes and brackets, the other deosn't.
