Organize a local game developer meetup sponsored by Decentraland (Q4 2018) #28

Organize a meetup for game developers in your local area and name Decentraland as the event's main sponsor!

To redeem this bounty you must present pictures of the event and screenshots of the event invitations (Email, Meetup Event, Facebook Event, Eventbrite, etc), showing that the Decentraland brand was made present.

The Decentraland team can supply you with posters and related graphics (if needed).

You can also reach out for guidance and consultation if you need help with event planning, talk content, or logistics. We have years of experience hosting events and tons of content for you to use!

In addition to the MANA bounty, we will cover the food and venue costs and provide banners and DCL related SWAG (T-Shirts and Stickers).

2) macbolak has been approved to start work.

I will make an event on eventbrite and advertise the meetup with social media and to my games friends. I will also attend some other meetups in boulder and make an announcement for this meetup. Then find a location for the event and hold it hopefully with a lot of people.

3) wazdevelopment has been approved to start work.

Edinburgh city meetup game developers named decentraland focusing on advertising the posters and content provided by the bounty the main cost will be the venue and food bills we have good contacts with local venues location with a estimated cost of 1500 pounds with the whole event and focus on 250 people plus for the even.

I am a student of IIITM. we are going to have one study week, during this time we are going to organize the workshop and talk by the industrial professional. So it will be great if Decentraland sponsors us.

5) dr-doer has been approved to start work.

I am part of a community co-working group and while not a coder myself I've been super interested in decentral and since I heard of it and even contributed ideas before your ico started. I'd love to host an event at our space in downtown and event a lot of local meetup groups and coworking attendees to come to check out the project. I'll need some graphics, ideas and things like this but I'm totally happy to get local people here into the project. :)

6) polezo has been approved to start work.

Hi,

I would set up a meetup in Washington, DC. I do a lot of freelance work in the Ethereum space (esp in the DEX community), and am also active in the VR meetups here. I'd like to set up an event in Chinatown/DC in mid-December, and invite the local VR community. I'm also friendly with the local Consensys Community Manager for the DC office, who has offered to help spread the word for events like this.

For speakers, I'm fairly confident I could get either one or both of Brian Flynn of the NFTY Newsletter, and Phillipe Castonguay from Horizon Blockchain Games to talk/present by webcast, as long as final timing is agreeable. I could definitely get one of the 0x guys to present as well (probably Matt Taylor). Would love to have a Decentraland speaker via webcast or otherwise if that can be arranged as part of the meetup.

hey how do receive the posters and other advertising content for my events, also costs of events is 1200 pounds Stirling will this be OK its outline in the original post thanks

hall rent for 1 evening 250 people plus = costs 500 foom and drinks costs = 425 eventbite tickets cost=275 total costs for the event = 1200 pounds Stirling
