Create a video tutorial showing how to upload a 3d model from Sketchfab #9

Create a narrated video that shows the steps for creating a VR-compatible dynamic scene.

The video must show:

Here's the Decentraland documentation for reference: docs.decentraland.org

You're free to use your creativity and imagine a scene that illustrates the objectives in an interesting and engaging way. The steps must be clear and concise, as they must serve as an example for other developers trying to achieve the same kind of result.

Workers have applied to start work.

These users each claimed they can complete the work by 2 months, 4 weeks from now. Please review their questions below:

    • Q: I have a couple of questions -- with limited knowledge about Dacentraland I don't want to underestimate the workload to accomplish this!

How is your ideal tutorial structured? Do you prefer conversational, personality driven tutorials that last 15-30m or cut and dry tutorials that are concise and show the basics of what needs to be done?

Is the end goal of this tutorial to show the ability to import content from Sketchfab or to show how to create a VR scene?

Cheers!

Hi @ryan-shea, thanks for your interest in our offering!

We prefer the tutorial to be based around screen captures, it doesn't need to be dry, in fact we prefer if you make it as engaging as you can. The main thing we want to underline is that this is a simple process that doesn't demand great technical or graphical skills, and that it can also be fun. We don't want it to span too long, I'm thinking maybe 10 minutes, but we want the final product to be attractive and leave the audience wishing they did something like that. That being said, the final product doesn't need to be a full VR scene, all we want to show in the end is how simple it is to import content. We also want to highlight the fact that a lot of free content exists out there, and that you don't need to be a 3D graphics artist and create everything from scratch.

I hope that helps paint a picture, let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know. Cheers! Nico
