A Meeting Point for Grassroots Movements

Greenpoint is a virtual headquarter for decentralized collaboration, built by and for people from all around the world to connect and create across borders and cultures. The Movement DAO is a pioneering decentralized organization and movement for the advancement of decentralized grassroots activity worldwide. It allows anyone who desires to take part in its governance and development. Its core aims are to enhance and foster decentralized collaboration, and to build valuable networks based on trust and friendship.

The Movement DAO

By harnessing the power of the Ethereum computing platform and related cutting-edge technologies, the world's first fully crowdsourced DAO is being created. Entirely owned and shaped by its participants, without any central leader, and created from the bottom up, The Movement supports humans on the internet to come together and create freely.

New and innovative spaces are emerging, communities and markets governed by internet citizens are arising. Independent from government agendas or corporate entities, The Movement uses the latest technology to offer decentralized ground for people from all around the world to connect and create.

Is there already creating tools or something? I admit i tried decentraland in a web browser like 2 days ago... I heard there will be a world editor to shape that all, but i don't really know more...

I like the direction of this project. The integration in Decentraland sounds like a pretty smart move with a clear long term goal.

Virtual Reality tech is going to be a boom in the future. Great concept for movement DAO to be on greenpoint to have a meeting point for all community members around the world

I really 'look' forward to getting in to the VR Ecosystem due to my participation with Greenpoint and The Movement. This IMHO is early in the early part of being an early adopter.

Super new to the whole scene, what would stop criminals and terrorists from using something like this to trade information without repercussion? I have serious reservations for this type of development even though I have a handful of mana and want it to succeed.

If your are already afraid of what the terrorists might do, then they've already won anyway. The terrorists can't hurt you in Decentraland ---> think of it that way.

I am far from afraid of terrorists. What I was asking was, have all the implications of a completely anonymous world been truly explored? Of course the terrorists can't hurt me in a fake world, how old do think I am? But they can hurt many people when they can now send instructions, send funding, etc. through the VR. Shouldn't that be something we are all thinking about?

Please don't make me seem like a cook when I'm trying to help.
