Proposal - Height restriction on buildings immediately surrounding the central plaza.

This would improve the aesthetics by creating a height gradient that extends back to higher skyscrapers.

I know who won't like this idea, all the people who paid millions of mana to secure a prime plaza spot.

And just because of that, I think it's a great Idea !

I don't necessarily think that a height restriction would hit them in the pocket. Scarcity dictates demand in most scenarios. Rents at a premium IMHO

ive been mulling this over and its a bit too late in the game to arbitrarily say some land has a different height to other land. it could be possible to charge people mana to allow some areas of land to have taller ceilings than others, people can always build down in to the ground but that would create a world where people live in the sewers to avoid taxes.

creating public green belt areas for non-commercial use on unowned land is one solution that is not too disruptive but has a lot of benefits https://github.com/decentraland/proposals/issues/156
