As much as I like the opportunity to own vast swats of contiguous land for large projects, at genesis I feel it is more important for a diverse set of founding owners/neighbours. A large well intentioned mogul could come, buy-up large areas of contiguous land then delay development resulting in vast areas of emptiness... meanwhile, lots of small owners means that at least some will develop. small owners could even trade/swap land to allow for more comples projects. this increases opportunities for collaboration among people who have shown genuine interest in DCL
@seekr if a mogul purchased a giant swath of land and didnt develop it then the development of genuine users would go to a different area and the moguls land would lose value.
I think I would agree with OP's proposal. A fill-or-kill order is a great idea !
I think he's saying there needs to be an atomic operation when allocating more than 1 piece of land. Either all of the allocations go through or none of them do.
Fill or Kill land purchase orders.
A land buyer may want to purchase many contiguous Land parcels but in the process someone else could inadvertently or purposefully purchase one of the lands the land buyer expected to be in the set. There needs to be a way to make sure buyer can purchase all desired land or kills the order so people dont end up with insufficient contiguous Land for their project.
