A-Squat for onboarding more users. #55

Open EmmaMakhno opened 6 years ago

I want to start a squat for people who are not willing to buy in so they can have a place to develop stuff such as their own residence. I will partition out the land tile vertically, they can stack what they develop on top of the last persons so we can have a super tall crazy tower with extremely variable styles in each level. This will get people in to feeling like they have a stake in the world and help bring people into developing who normally wouldnt be willing to make the leap by purchasing land. It could gain a high density of users in a small area and become an artists/weirdo hangout.

this is an awesome idea.

Hey ! Loved the idea. I think it's based off Kowloon Walled City (by typing that I noticed that it was written in your image… duh !). How would you manage users demanding multiple partitions though ? Do you assign one partition to every user that demands one ? What if one person has multiple accounts, does he get multiple partition ? I'm trying to find ways one could "exploit" your system, as this will probably happen…

as an anarchist squat exploiting the system is encouraged

I'm just trying to understand : say I don't possess any LAND so I want to come live in your squat. You then give me a partition of your squat, which I can use freely (we have a contract of some sort). But now say I ask for a second partition ? Do you give it away freely ? If so, what happens when I ask a third, fourth, and infinitely many ? If you don't allow more than one per user, what prevents me from making multiple accounts (say I program a bot so that it creates a new user and asks you for a partition automatically). How do you prevent this ?

i would have the lease be revocable immediately if i choose and allow you to build tons of houses until they started being too similar to each other. Everyone could have as many houses as they cared to spend the time designing. Z axis is infinite! Ridiculousness must be Maximized! the revolution is Now!
