Allow land owners to change gravity #69

Name: Gravity manipulation

Purpose: Allow land owners to change gravity

Description: Land owners should be able to change the gravity vector, i.e. direction and amount of gravitational force.

This could enable simulation of other planetary bodies (Moon at 1/6th earth gravity, Mars at 3.69 m/s²), as well as zero gravity experiences such as games (Lone Echo being a good example but also Ender's game with its competitive war simulations in zero gravity).

By tilting gravity by 90° land owners can make visitors move along a wall of their buildings which can take advantage of the arbitrary building height.

There would have to be a mechanism that makes sure users can leave an area when they want to.

Also, changes in gravity can lead to disorientation so care must be taken that users have a pleasant experience when travelling.

awesome idea, love it, could have some problems when crossing the land boarder but we could make the transition smooth.

I suggest putting this in another world possibly that will make the physics problem much much easier to deal with. You can read my post "Other Worlds" and see what you think might be the best way to implement this. Imagine all the issues you will run into with cars, planes, anything entering into or being built in that zone or land adjoining it. I think it might make for a really glitchy bug prone map without a ton of design/coding work and lots of computer power.

Changing gravity on a world-by-world basis makes sense however it could also be valuable to change the gravity direction as mentioned earlier.
