In-World Wallet Functionality #73

DCL will need an in-world wallet and/or payment gateway to allow users to pay and sell goods in a cost-effective, seamless way.

The wallet will need to be: 1) decentralised (in keeping with DCL philosophy) 2) capable of supporting hundreds/thousands of transactions 3) preferably capable of managing exchanges b/w fiat, non-DCL crypto, and in-world MANA, to allow for the most seamless transaction experience

There should be "traditional" payment gateways for real-world brick-and-mortar businesses that decide to open a store in DCL, like Stripe or Paypal, but firmly believe there should be a fast, decentralised wallet+exchange that integrates with DCL so allow users to spend their BTC/ETH/altcoins to purchase and sell goods.

There are many decentralised exchanges and/or crypto-enabled wallets in the pipeline right now, so DCL admins have their choice. However, the number of reputable projects that have proven themselves to be more than vapourware (at time of writing) are small. These include, but are not limited to:

1) OmiseGo - DEX+fiat<>cryptoexchange; now partnered with Plasma.io, which will make thousands (even millions) of simultaneous transactions possible (full disclosure: I hold OMG and my fund invested in Omise before OMG) 2) Kyber - Vitalik-backed DEX 3) TenX - crypto-enabled CC and wallet, already distributing cards

The above list is nowhere near exhaustive, but more a small sample.

IMHO, the need for a wallet is important enough that there should be a dedicated GUI for the management of user's money, i.e. a section of their visual interface where they can literally top-up/deduct from their wallet in-real time, at any time.
