Purpose: making mining visually real, offering virtual jobs to users
Description :
Mining : It would be interesting to actually generate visual blocks of "rocks" for users to "physically" mine MANA in game. Since most of the users won't be crypto currency experts, that would be the best way to keep them in game a maximum of time while enabling them to generate their first coins and contribute to the eco system.
It would still follow the standard blockchain mining concepts, with a share of randomness and scarcity of ressources.
It would also be seen as free to play model, an option for users who would like to be part of decentraland economy, and who have time to offer, but not that much real world money ;)
Jobs : Even though Decentraland's ideal goal is some kind of open world in which users will evade from their daily lifes, they will still be interested in getting a job or skillset online.
This could also contribue to the ecosystem & market. I have a couple of jobs in mind
Architect / project manager : for a fee, an advanced user will help a beginner to build his first elements or arrange its LAND properly
Sherpa Merchant : will travel the LANDS with exclusive items in hand, and will trade here and there
Custom garage owner (and dedicated skillset professions in general) : will dedicated its in game hours to build vehicles on demand
Name : in game jobs
