Tier 2 - VR Technology News Show #81

Name of Project: Tech News VR (Could use work, not the best at naming things) Slack username: @louisallaway

Idea: I think the most important part of any news show is community outreach, bringing other people's views into the show, to make it as least one sided as possible and very entertaining. Technology is a sphere were lots of people have strong opinions, and sometimes the mainstream content is very one sided. Podcasts cherry pick people who are very popular and work for big news organisations, and while it is nice to have them on once in a while, I believe the average high end user has more opinions and arguements then any of them.

The show being in vr will allow us to have a panel of people from all over the world right there in the room with us, giving it that personal touch. People could come right into the studio from anywhere, even in their bed, again allowing us to talk to the audience and bring there views up to the table.

The show would be aired once or twice a week and could be recorded to publish on YouTube or other decenterslized platforms (SteemQ?) Or even in decentraland itself.

Another benefit to doing the show in vr is that we could visit decentraland objects of interest and air the show from their (eg - museum, new city)

What would be required: A Studio - This would be essential to allowing us to do this project, no studio no place to air, this is why I am applying here.

A Camera - This would allow us to record and share to a video platform, this could probably be achieved by using a second player and connecting it to obs.

A Screen - To put a slideshow on with all the sites for the show.

What would be nice: A tablet like device - For quickly looking up stuff if the audience asks us a question.

A Multiple Camera System - For multiple shots.

(I am working on providing renders for this project, however I think I have explained it pretty well.)
