Purpose: Provide an exclusive area for only ICO investors to relax without annoying non-ICO plebs interfering.
Description: As we all know, the ICO was very exclusive and that's a good thing! Every society has the 1% and the rest of the huddled masses. All day people have been complaining "the ICO wasn't fair", and "it's not de-centraland, it's centraland", and other whining. As part of the 1%, I don't want to be bothered by this complaining in my new virtual estate.
I think it would be smart to model it after real-life 1% hangouts like a luxury resort, mega yacht, or private island. This will provide the most comfortable and familiar environment that the upper crust of society are used to.
In the future, changes in the virtual landscape may allow for more creative opportunities. A private island for example would be a great way to create a natural barrier between the whales and everybody else. With our plentiful MANA we should be able to easily afford it.
Entry to the Whale Club
Everybody likes to feel included. So as part of our official communications about Whale Club, we will actually be sending information to all users in the community. Now you might be thinking "but wait, I don't want to associate with beggars and losers". Don't worry! See, the trick is the official communication won't actually provide any useful information. Isn't that hilarious!
For example, the official communication will tell all users interested in joining the Whale Club to meet in a central area, which could be a park or other pleb gathering place. Let's call this place codename "Chrome extension". Meanwhile everybody in the know will have true access to the club through what we'll call "pools" or "buying contracts". Think of these as the equivalent of stretch limos and private planes. To be clear, these methods of accessing Whale Club will never be publicly acknowledged. And afterwards, when all the average users are left out in the rain, we will just pretend like they should have known about them all along! It's the perfect filter. I can't wait to see all those disappointed faces.
