Name: (un)official induction room and VR history library/museum
Purpose: To enable a visually minimal but adaptative/interactive room to introduce tourists and new-comers to Decentraland, VR-concepts and/or just "decompress" before wandering out into the vast and multisensorial new Worlds.
Description:
This room will be inspired by the Matrix "Construct" room: a white(shadeless/flat) room which starts with a couple of chairs or shelves.
User will interact with the objects in the room (or HUD) to "summon" other furnitures such as multiple shelves of books or museum display cases containing objects relevant to the development of VR through history.
Other content can include guides to interacting in DCL, basics of crypto-economics, etc. This room can transform between a decompressing room, a study room and a small museum/collection.
Objects needed will be modeled from scratch, content for the library/museum will come from community suggestions.
tiles needed: anywhere from 1 to 4 would probably be enough to create this sense of comfiness or vastness of the white room.
