Out of bounds & multiselect weirdness

When I have several items selected and one of them is out of bounds, they're sometimes ALL marked as out of bounds.

This is easier to explain with a video.

1) I first select the rock, then the column. If the rock is out of bounds, BOTH are red. If the column is out of bounds, the rock is not.

2) I first select the column, there it's upside down. If the column is out, BOTH are out, if the rock is out, the column is not.

One extra corner case that is also odd

I select the column, then the rock. I push both to be out out of bounds, both turn red and have an outline. But then I bring just the column back in. Now the rock still has an outline, but IT IS NOT RED ANYMORE. It should stay red until it's back in the scene.
