When I try to scale something, and move the cursor beyond the margins of the window, and then release the button outside the window, suddenly I can't exit scaling mode. Even if I try clicking, clicking the right button, or even pressing escape. The only way to escape this mode that I find is to select a different edit mode (move or rotate).
While I'm in this mode, if I click trying to exit, I end up selecting other entities and go into scaling them too. That can be very destructive, because I end up changing the scale of things I never wanted to change.
In this video I'm not keeping the button pressed.
I first keep it pressed to stretch the first entity, and let it go when the mouse is outside the window. Then I'm only doing short clicks to select other entities.
