Can we save/archive the meeting minutes by posting them to the W3C CCG, it is a joint work item of that group, so they should get regular meeting minutes at least?

Are we ok with helping otter build ML models of our voices?

This needs to be sorted out ASAP.

I'm in favor of using otter, assuming that it does not have things like "Person 1" which defeats the purpose of IPR protection...

We asked Otter.ai these questions:

Could Otter confirm that non of the voices used to create profiles related to our account is being tested against other user accounts? Meaning, there is zero correlation of voice profiles between accounts within zoom. In addition to this, how data is used once it made available for otter via the zoom link?

In case we would consider deleting one voice profile from Otter's system would it be possible? Can we permanently delete all voice profiles from Otter's system?

This was there response:

We can confirm that voiceprints (i.e. voice samples from your recordings) are only used for identifying speakers within your own Otter account, among members of a Group to which you belong, and among members of a Team if you are part of an Otter for Teams subscription.

We do not share voiceprints with Zoom or any other 3rd parties.

Would you please clarify your last question "how data is used once it made available for otter via the zoom link"? Otter integrates with Zoom to transcribe your Zoom cloud recordings (post-meeting) and Zoom meetings in real time.

It is not possible for users to delete voiceprints at this time. You can request for all voiceprints to be deleted by emailing us at support@otter.ai.

I like otter, and think we should keep using it... assuming that it doesn't have things like "Person 1" in it... which defeats the entire purpose :)
