The usage of this credential type is OPTIONAL and is not required to be compliant with this profile.

whats the context for changing this to VerifiedEmployee? think i missed that discussion

Microsoft provided the original example for the use-case and credential shape, and what Microsoft uses as a type is verifiedEmployee, not workplaceCredential, was my misunderstanding.
