Petra, is my partner, and is involved with work for ETHBerlin.

I would like to set a budget for her involvement.

Hi @chrishobcroft , for sure. As I am asking Stina as well I would like to ask Petra for her resumé, the scope of her work, the amount of hours she plans to work, in order to make a grand total.

Note: this is a request for information, not an approval. Same applies to Stina.

She doesn't really have a resume, but wants to be involved in stuff for the nature room.

Also there is Victoria who wants to run the music room (and has strong connections in the Berlin music scene), but she also has no resume, and isn't going to scope out her work.

Is there any other way that people can participate in a freelancer capacity, or is this "the process"?

I believe this is possible - but in terms of responsible budget allocation, I need to know what are their rates based on, hence this is why we need supporting documentation. To clarify: we have 20 people in the core organizing team volunteering. We have 40 more volunteers.

For remunerated people we need to act responsibly, scoping out:

I can gladly have a call with both and determine this, i think it is viable, I chose resumes and scopes because it's the most transparent way to go, as everyone can see it, but not everyone can attend the call. So I suggest going for this process for a more transparent budget allocation, I am sure both can spare the time to write their scope and a short resume if they are confident that their capacities need to be remunerated.
