I just saw a guy on Telegram who was patching apps using 1 or 2 months old patches because he was unaware about this setting/preference.

So, it is requested to make make this setting/preference enabled out-of-the-box.

I mean, doing so only has advantages & no disadvantages.

If someone is ignorant enough, then its not an issue with UX. However, I agree to you and will enable it.
