The attached file is a summary of my rather rambling attempts to make the code work for me. I was successful in the end and I am very pleased with the ability of controlling my squeeze boxes using Alexa. Thanks Nick johns_alexa_squeeze.txt

Great stuff, that's actually really helpful. I'll try and get some time to edit, update and add this to the existing docs (especially around the MQTT section).

@JohnKendrick can you clarify what systems you were using here? e.g. what local system (OS X?) and what server OS for mqtt-squeeze? (I'm guess Arch?).

@declension I am running both the mqtt-squeeze server and the Logitech Media Server on the same Arch box. My squeeze box client is a Raspberry PI3
